Museum of Yugoslavia
Exhibition lighting for a museum where the objects change but the rooms do not. Track-mounted adjustable optics let each display be relit without touching the ceiling, while the walls are washed evenly enough for large graphic panels to read from end to end.
Lighting that can be re-aimed
Permanent installations age badly in a museum, so the scheme is built around continuous track and a small family of adjustable optics. A new exhibition means new angles and new beam widths, not new wiring, the ceiling stays as it is and the work happens from a ladder in an afternoon.
Wall, object, text
Three jobs had to stay separate: washing a long graphic wall evenly, picking out objects on plinths, and keeping wall text legible at reading distance. Narrow beams do the objects, wide asymmetrical optics do the walls, and the contrast between them is what stops the room flattening out.
