Lightology Lab is a specialist in architectural and decorative lighting, working at the point where lighting, architecture and interior design meet.
Who we are
We began as Lightology, among the first companies in Serbia to build a serious presence in premium lighting. For ten years we were the exclusive distributor of FLOS for Serbia and Montenegro, and that decade built what the practice runs on today: technical depth, international partnerships, and a working knowledge of how professional lighting actually gets specified and delivered.
Twenty-seven years on, we work across private residences, hospitality, offices, retail, cultural institutions and museums, on projects in Serbia, Montenegro, France, Monaco, Switzerland and Italy.
We keep a showroom in Belgrade, at Misarska 8, where clients and specifiers can see fittings lit in person rather than judging them from a catalogue.
What we do
Our involvement runs the length of a project. We develop the lighting concept, write the technical specification, select the products, coordinate with the other trades and see the installation through.
Beyond lighting, we deliver bespoke solutions and complete interior fit-outs, so that architecture, light, furniture and materials are resolved together rather than negotiated after the fact.
We work with architects, interior designers, lighting designers, contractors, developers and private clients, and we adjust to how each of them works.
Our approach
A good lighting scheme is not a choice of luminaire. It is the quality of the light itself, visual comfort, how the fittings sit within the architecture, energy use, durability and what the installation is still worth in ten years.
Light is an architectural tool. It shapes atmosphere, brings out materials, creates depth and changes how a space is understood. We treat it that way from the first sketch.
