TT Cut

Laze Pačua, Belgrade

Lighting design by Lightology Lab for TT Cut, a salon on Laze Pačua in Belgrade, with interiors by Katarina Ožegović and Tatjana Anđelković. Linear fittings run across the ceiling above the work stations, and a row of three pendants marks the black steel staircase.

Three pendants on the stair

The black steel staircase is the strongest shape in the room, so it gets light of its own. Three small pendants hang in a row beneath the landing, above the bench where clients wait, and turn the stair into a lit backdrop rather than a dark corner.

Seen from the street

Floor-to-ceiling glass puts the whole salon on show. Slim linear lights set close to the ceiling keep the mirrors and chairs evenly lit and read as clean lines from the pavement, against the textured plaster wall behind them.
